The Measured Marketer joins Festival as Marketing Partner
Hunter Innovation Festival has welcomed The Measured Marketer as its Marketing Partner for 2026.
Led by founder and marketing strategist Jacqui Daley—who brings extensive past involvement with both Hunter iF and the festival—The Measured Marketer works with manufacturers, engineers, defence suppliers, energy businesses and industrial organisations across Australia.
As Marketing Partner, The Measured Marketer has supported the development of the Festival’s overarching marketing strategy and industry engagement plan, helping shape how Hunter iF reaches and engages businesses and decision-makers across Advanced Manufacturing, Future Energy, Health and Aerospace.
Now in its 24th year, the Hunter Innovation Festival is focusing on building Australia's sovereign capability through connecting our community to attract investment, talent and further global reach and commercialisation of our amazing innovation ecosystem. Together, the organisations are working to strengthen industry participation, broaden representation across the Festival’s four pillars and bring more senior business leaders and decision-makers into the room.
Hunter Innovation Festival CEO Zara Crichton said The Measured Marketer was a natural fit for the partnership.
“The Measured Marketer brings a strong understanding of the industries we want represented at Hunter Innovation Festival, as well as deep connections across the Hunter and the broader industrial community,” Crichton said.
“Jacqui understands both the opportunity in front of these businesses and what it takes to engage them. Having that strategic marketing and industry perspective helping shape our approach is incredibly valuable as we continue to grow the Festival and the audience around it.”
The partnership will also bring a major new launch to Hunter Innovation Festival.
On 13 October 2026, Jacqui Daley will officially launch her new book, BRAG: For industrial businesses done being the world’s best-kept secret.
Written for the businesses designing, building, manufacturing and supporting Australia’s industrial future, BRAG challenges industrial businesses to think differently about the role of marketing, and to recognise it as a significant lever for commercial growth. It is about building the clarity, credibility and market presence businesses need to be understood, trusted and chosen.
Daley said the partnership felt like a natural fit.
“This partnership feels incredibly well aligned. Having previously served on the Hunter iF board, I’ve seen first-hand the role the organisation plays in bringing industry, ideas and opportunity together across our region.
“The work we do at The Measured Marketer is about helping great industrial businesses make more of those opportunities by being clearer, more visible and better understood in the market. Supporting Hunter iF’s strategy and industry engagement is a very natural extension of that.
“I’m also absolutely delighted to be launching BRAG at the Festival. This book has been shaped by more than 25 years working alongside manufacturers, engineers and industrial businesses, many of them here in the Hunter. I can’t think of a better place to officially put it into the world.”
Hunter Innovation Festival showcases what our industries are building.
BRAG is about making sure the market understands why it matters.
More details on the BRAG launch will be announced soon.
