The Future is Bright!

The Hunter Innovation Festival is thrilled to announce the finalists for our very first Tee-shirt Primary Art Prize! 🎨 We asked young artists from across the Hunter to show us their vision for the 'Energy of the Future', and the response was simply incredible.

With 80 amazing entries, the creativity, passion, and innovative spirit of our region's youth were on full display. The talent showcased in each piece made the judging process exceptionally difficult, and we want to extend a huge thank you to every single student who participated. You have truly inspired us!

Our esteemed panel of judges had the challenging task of selecting a handful of designs that stood out for their originality, creative interpretation of the theme, and suitability for a t-shirt design.

Meet the Finalists!

Without further ado, we are incredibly proud to congratulate our finalists. These brilliant young artists represent the best of the best from a very competitive field.

A huge congratulations to these talented artists! 🌟

What's Next? Wearable Art!

These amazing finalist designs are being brought to life! Each finalist will receive a special gift of their own artwork printed on a high-quality t-shirt.

Even better, you can celebrate their talent too! These limited-edition t-shirts will be available for sale ahead of the festival. Stay tuned to our social media channels and website for details on how to purchase one and support our budding innovators.

And the Winner is…

The overall winner has been selected and will be announced live at the Hunter Innovation Festival!

Join us on Thursday, 25 September 2025, at Newcastle City Hall to celebrate all our finalists and find out who will be crowned the winner of the 2025 Primary Art Prize.
