About

Director and COO with 28 years of international project experience, working in innovation, IT, transformation, automation and technical services. Broad knowledge across all aspects of running businesses from Startups to large corporate enterprises.

For several years I was the COO for the Slingshot group providing corporate accelerator services and innovation consulting to many of Australia's iconic and most well respected companies.

Now a Director and COO of The Melt, with great conviction in delivering the vision to interconnect education, entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment. The Melt programs and investment fund are enablers for emerging businesses, corporates and students with a focus on clean/climate tech, advanced manufacturing and industrial IoT hardware products.

The Melt provides a trusted and experienced hand for hardware startups to prove, prototype, pilot and produce. In addition to offering access to our prototyping facilities and technical specialists, we are deploying capital now from our early stage VC fund, Melt Ventures.

I spent the early part of my career laying international optic fibre undersea telecommunications cables, working in 40+ countries. These major projects developed an interest in technology and global supply chains which led into a decade of numerous roles including; GM of a commodity logistics company (handling 50 mtpa of exports through NSW and QLD ports), directing the global support team and the customer facing professional services staff for an ASX listed mining supply chain software company with most of the world's largest mining companies as clients (who transacted more than 1 btpa of commodities through our software).
